Ruka’s new Masto Express lift is only 1.5 km from our accommodation. In winter you can take advantage of the ski bus service, which runs to the slopes once an hour. The nearest bus stop is only about 200 metres away, so you and your slope mates can easily get to the ski slopes.
The fine cycle paths start right from the Rukalodge courtyard. Rukalodge also has a bike washing area immediately behind the waste shed on entering the area, and bike maintenance stands, among other things.
For skiers, the nearest ski trail is located about 300 metres away on the other side of Rukajärventie. You can enjoy beautiful ski slopes and snowy landscapes right next to our accommodation.
In addition, Rukalodge and all Ruka-kuru accommodations include two Vauhti wristbands during the summer for the entire stay.
