Our family and I were in Ruka for the first time this winter, and we decided to stay at Rukalodge. I can't stress enough how great an experience we had! First of all, the fact that four lift tickets were included in the price of the accommodation was perfect. With active skiers in our family, this saved us a lot of money and made the trip much cheaper.

The hiking trail started almost directly from the terrace of our holiday home, which was incredibly convenient. Throughout the day, I couldn't stop marveling at how stunning the scenery in Ruka is, and Pyhän-Jyssäys was no exception. The trail passed through dense forests and magnificent viewpoints. The route also gave us the opportunity to challenge ourselves physically. The path was demanding in places, but just the right one to get our hearts beating and sweat flowing. I couldn't help but notice how well-maintained the route was - it was clearly marked, and the maintenance was commendable.

The cottages were brand new, and it showed immediately. When I first stepped inside, I was impressed by their modern and elegant look. Everything felt brand new and carefully planned. The cleanliness of the cottages was something that really impressed me. Everything was immaculate, and I would imagine we were the first guests. The clean and fresh atmosphere made our stay very comfortable. The level of equipment was top class. The kitchen had everything you needed, from crockery to appliances, which made cooking easy. The sauna was a lovely place to relax after a long day outside. The cottages were also spacious, making them an excellent option for families or larger groups. Everyone had enough space to rest and enjoy their own peace and quiet. The location was also excellent. The cottages were close to activities and attractions, which made it easy to make plans for the day.
